The responsibility of the “Room Parent” is to:
Assist the teacher with communication to parents/caregivers in your class
Assist the PTO and event chairs with solicitation of volunteers
Coordinate functions specific to your classroom and more
Visit the “Room Parents Info” page under the PTO section for more detailed information regarding specific responsibilities.
Class room parent(s) should NOT be expected to relay any issues or concerns expressed by other parents. Parents/caregivers should speak directly with teachers and/or school administrator if issues arise.
In conjunction with “Fair Share” responsibilities, please continue to give our volunteer(s) your support throughout the school year. Your participation is deeply appreciated.
