St. Michael Catholic School is pleased to announce that we have implemented a tried and trusted online grading system called www.TrackMyGrades .com in grades 1-8. Parents and students are issued a secure password and have access to their past and future assignments online 24/7. The TrackMyGrades.com servers use the same type of encryption as all of the major online banks, so the children’s information is safe. Our school will be fully online by the end of the first quarter.
To get connected, submit your email address to one of your child’s teachers. You will only need to do this once. Once your email address is connected to a child, it will stay with them all the way through eighth grade. Track my grades will send you an email with your unique password (passwords are not issued by the teachers). Once obtained, go to www.TrackMyGrades .com and enter your email address and the password you were assigned to track his/her progress. You will even be able to see future assignments if the teacher has entered them. In order to ensure your child’s privacy, please do not share this password with others.
This service is free to parents. If you forget your password or cannot access the site, please verify your e-mail address is correct with your child’s homeroom teacher and ask him/her to resend your password. Teachers do not issue passwords. They can only submit your e-mail address. Do not contact trackmygrades about e-mail or password issues, since that is maintained at our school.
If you see a “0%” as an entry, and your child has not missed an assignment, it probably means your teacher has not yet updated your student’s grade. This is especially likely if the 0% is the last entry listed. Thank you for your patience as teachers continue to add these grades.
