Important Fundraiser Information

Dear Parents and Students,

We are sorry to inform you of an unfortunate issue with a recent fundraiser. We refused today’s shipment of cheesecakes and other desserts.  The shipment was short and the company could not guarantee the remaining delivery in time for the holidays. Moreover, the shipment was supposed to be delivered in a refrigerated truck and it was not. Since most of the desserts required refrigeration, 
we questioned if these items were safe for consumption. therefore we decided to refuse shipment. We will not be doing business with this company in the future.

We are in the process of refunding (in cash) the collected amounts.  On Tuesday, please see Debbie Floyd in the school office to obtain a refund and copy of your customer list. For your convenience, we have placed a file for you to download explaining to your customers what happened. You may download a copy by clicking on the file called “fundraiser memo” in box on the right. When refunding your customers, please make sure you return their payment in person. Please do not leave the refund in their mailbox. It will also be a good idea to document who accepted each refund.
